I have to say that I am not only happy with my teens, but am impressed beyond anything I could have imagined. Both 17-year olds carry themselves with poise and purpose as they hone in on perfecting their art of capturing the essence of every indivdual they encounter through their lenses:
...the light-hearted joy of giggles and whispers that come from the school children as they clamour into the school bus in the early hours of the morning
...the pain and lonliness of a poor, scared and timid 75-year old mother watching her 45-year old son be prepped for cataract surgery then wheeled off to the operation room
...the seriousness of witnessing and filming cataract surgery being performed right in front of their eyes
...the uncertainty of a 15-year old mother who waits for her 3 year old daughter to have cataracts removed from her young eyes
...the joy and laughter that comes when meeting new friends
Today was a glorious day of personal bests achieved!
